"No Time for Talkers" Album Launch, 7 December 2017

This December, I'm really excited to be launching my new album, No Time For Talkers, which features repertoire representing my life and music over the past decade (in Australia, the UK & Europe and the USA). No Time For Talkers will be launched at Paris Cat with an all-star line up of musicians performing original, contemporary and standard jazz, funk and soul music.

2015-16: Return To Australia—Based In Melbourne

In December 2014, Niels graduated with Master of Music in Jazz Studies (Performance - Saxophone) degree from the University of North Texas (UNT) College of Music, where he was employed as a Graduate Teaching Fellow and served as the lead tenor saxophonist in the legendary seven-time
Grammy-nominated UNT One O'Clock Lab Band®.

In March 2015, Niels relocated to back to Australia and is now based in Melbourne where he is a lecturer at the Australian Institute of Music, and works throughout Australia in a range of professional music performance and education settings.
